OUR SERVICES
How are we different?
Neurodiversity Screening
Our expert team can conduct thorough neurodiversity screening to identify specific needs and provide tailored support for neurodivergent apprentices.
Needs Assessments
We perform detailed needs assessments to unlock additional funding and provide the necessary support for apprentices with diverse learning needs.
AT and Learning Support Provision
Skillbridge offers end-to-end AT and learning support provision to ensure apprentices receive the assistance they require to thrive in their chosen apprenticeship.
What We Offer?
We offer a ‘one-stop shop’ for apprenticeship providers to support their apprentices. From initial screening for neurodivergence to detailed needs assessments that unlock additional funding, Skillbridge can provide an end-to-end service for additional learning support or can support existing provision in one or more of the areas above.
For example, we recognise that some colleges and universities may have existing arrangements for screening or needs assessments and are happy to come alongside and provide assistive technology or one-to-one support.

One-to-one Support
01
Mandatory Screening

We provide the Do-IT Neurodiversity Profiler +, which is suitable for learners over the age of 16 to identify both neurodivergent and wellbeing strengths and challenges. The screening tool produces an individual report for each learner that can be used as evidence for claiming learning support funding through the ESFA/DfE. A rationale and evidence for use of the Do-IT Profiler can be found here.
02
Needs Assessment

We work with a pool of experienced assessors to carry out individual needs assessments, either in person or online, with learners who have been identified as needing additional support. The needs assessment report will include recommendations for assistive technology and one-to-one support and is designed to support claims for additional funding.
03
Assistive Technology

We can provide a wide range of assistive technology (AT) hardware and software, both on an individual learner basis or as a more cost-effective site licence to support multiple learners. Apprenticeship providers can claim back the costs of assistive technology, as long as learner need is evidenced and provision is documented. We can provide advice and guidance on assistive technology, to ensure you are receiving the maximum benefit for your organisation as well as one-to-one AT training for your learners.
04
One-to-one Support

We have over 20 years of experience of providing one-to-one support to students in Higher Education and access to a team of over 200 study skills and mental health specialists. Hence, we have the capacity to provide support, either in person or remotely to fit in with your learners’ work commitments.
