Understanding the Learner Support Fund (LSF)
The Learner Support Fund is additional financial support that may be available if you need help with:
-
Specialist learning support
-
Extra tutoring or academic help
-
Travel or equipment related to your learning needs
-
Support linked to a disability, learning difficulty, or health condition.
This fund is designed to remove barriers to learning and ensure you can fully participate in your apprenticeship. It is there to make sure that cost or circumstance does not prevent you from accessing the support you need.
DSA Vs. LSF
In some cases, learners may receive both, depending on eligibility and circumstances.
